FACULTY OF ENGINEERING

The mission of the Engineering Faculty at the Canadian Institute of Technology is twofold. Firstly, it aims to equip both students and staff with expertise in various engineering disciplines, including Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Telecom, Cybersecurity, Big Data, Multimedia Design, and more. This is achieved through an educational philosophy grounded in universal values, fostering critical thinking, objective reasoning, analytical and problem-solving skills, leadership, and creativity. Concurrently, the faculty is committed to supporting research initiatives that generate ideas and tangible projects aimed at enhancing the quality and scope of human life.

 

Furthermore, the Engineering Faculty is dedicated to fostering excellence in teaching, research, and learning, adopting a systemic approach to engineering education. The overarching goal is to produce engineering graduates with a robust technical knowledge base and complementary skills essential for success as professional engineers in the contemporary world. The mission extends to conducting high-quality, competitively funded research that contributes to the creation and dissemination of new knowledge and innovative technologies, addressing technological, societal, and economic needs locally and globally. Additionally, the faculty actively engages in outreach activities, industrial partnerships, and endeavours to cultivate a culture of respect, inclusiveness, and diversity among students, faculty, and staff.

FACULTY OF ECONOMY

The mission of the Faculty of Economy is twofold: firstly, to cultivate qualified students in various domains such as economy, business, business administration, IT, finance, accounting, banking, auditing, marketing, and more. The faculty is committed to supporting scientific research that translates into new ideas and projects contributing to human life improvement and societal progress. Aligned with the institution’s vision, the faculty aims to instil in students critical thinking, objective reasoning, analytical and problem-solving skills, leadership, and above all, creativity.

 

Additionally, the Faculty of Economy strives to prepare proficient students in fields like economy, business, business administration, technology of information, finance, accounting, banking, and auditing, among others. This is achieved through an educational philosophy grounded in universal values. The faculty actively promotes scientific research to implement innovative ideas and projects, fostering improvements not only in individual lives but also in society at large. In line with the institution’s vision, the faculty endeavours to develop critical thinking, objective reasoning, analytical and problem-solving skills, leadership qualities, and, notably, originality in its students.
