CIT IS THE WINNER OF THE EU PROJECT

Canadian Institute of Technology (CIT) in Tirana-Albania is awarded the winner of the EU project called “Inclusive Digital Education – a Tool to Understand Circular Economy”. The project will be implemented under the Erasmus + Call 2020 “Cooperation for innovation and the exchange of good practices- Partnerships for Digital Education Readiness”.

This two-year long-lasting project gets focused on the topics of Circular Economy and circular green models and will help HEI to implement digital education solutions into their curricula. It will develop an innovative, asymmetrical online course on Circular Economy & Green Economy and it will strive to improve digital pedagogical competencies of educators, enabling them to deliver high quality interactive digital education.

Direct TARGET GROUPS of the project will be students of higher education institutions, educators of the higher education institution on related fields, business and other stakeholders. The project will support “EU Digital Skills & Jobs” policy, Digital Education Action Plan (2021-2027) and by including topics of CE in the E-learning, it will help to forward EU to its set objective in “Green Deal” to be the first continent, that becomes environmentally neutral by year 2050.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Reis Mulita, the CIT Coordinator of the project, feels proud of the fact that CIT is awarded the winner of the project, selected among other applicants to be contributing partner in this very innovative project among other four HEI’s partners from EU countries (Latvia, Lithuania, Italy, Portugal).
