CIT has a diverse mix of student sports clubs with plenty of opportunities for competitive sports. The Chess Club is one of them, a social community of chess players who hold regular games, casual tournaments, activities, and events. It is an instructional, and competitive meeting place where our students come together through chess. Playing chess is like a rigorous exercise for the brain. Because it requires players to engage in decision-making, it helps students learn to plan ahead and use logic to make sound choices.

Take a glimpse at the first chess tournament where the students had the opportunity to play against their fellow peers and improve their problem-solving skills. They got to study the game whilst socializing and getting to know each other.

The mission of the student clubs is to provide networking opportunities, promote the development of strategic critical thinking skills for realistic and future usage, and encourage adherence to the Code of Ethics.
