The licensing decision was issued by the Albanian Prime Minister and Minister of Education and Science on 10 November 2011. Canadian Institute of Technology is an accredited University College which operates in the heart of Tirana – Albania.

BOOK PROMOTION | EVENT HIGHLIGHTS
|
CIT organized a book promotion event, “Ground Station Design and Analysis for Leo Satellites” by Assoc. Prof. Shkelzen Cakaj.Assoc.
Prof. Cakaj recounted how the book evolved from an idea to a reality. He described the approach it offers to the reader by
allowing him to compare theoretical findings with on-site data, directing him toward logical and practical performance evaluation and enhancement.

DEVELOPMENT OF “OPEN SCIENCE” IN ALBANIA | COLLABORATION VISIT
|
OThis meeting discussed future collaboration and projects focusing on the development
of “Open Science” in Albania, where we presented innovative approaches at different phases of the scientific research process,
fostering an open science culture and approximation incentives for it.

CITi Incubator 2023 will guide and push innovative ideas to market through training’s, hands-on learning, workshops, and mentoring from experienced trainers from across the world.

INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY AND BUSINESS IN CESKE BUDEJOVICE | COLLABORATION VISIT
|
Representatives from the Institute of Technology and Business in České Budějovice, Ph.D. Tomas Krulicky, Radka Vanickova, Ph.D. Robert Kuchar, and Daniel Chamrada have teemed up with our university to form an exciting new collaboration.
During the meeting, various collaboration topics were discussed, which included the idea of developing and implementing innovative
methods and practices to foster inclusive education/youth environments and promote common values.

ACADEMIC SEMINAR | FACULTY OF ENGINEERING
|
Our academic seminars are a forum for our academic staff to collaborate, share and discuss relevant research and trends with their peers and the broader academic community.
This seminar specifically focused on pedagogical advice and proposals for collaborations with research or expertise institutions that could benefit CIT in the long run among other aspects.

HIKING AND OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES
|
The Fitness and Wellness Club is one of our most popular on-campus student clubs. This club provides all students safe access to the outdoors, regardless of prior experience, gear, or financial need, with the mission of connecting and building community via outdoor activities.
The picnic was planned by our students and was organised at one of our city’s attractions.

INVENTING AND STARTING A SUCCESSFUL BUSINESS | Open Lecture
|
Today, we had the pleasure of welcoming Mr. Daniel Chamrada from the University of South Bohemia České Budějovice
for an open lecture on how an invention or idea can turn into a successful business. This was followed by an “in-depth” discussion as they continued to explore the steps to create a stronger outcome.

FROM ZERO TO HERO: HOW TO BECOME A SUCCESSFUL ENTREPRENEUR | Open Lecture
|
Mr. Robert Kuchar held an open lecture on how to succeed as an entrepreneur by utilizing modern technology.
Mr. Kuchar emphasized the recent challenges of becoming a successful entrepreneur and the factors that affect achieving them.
One of which is utilizing new technologies such as creating your own e-commerce shop, and becoming your own boss.

STUDENT GOVERNMENT | MEETING
|
As a direct liaison between the university and its students, the Students Government had an insightful meeting to ensure that the Student Body’s mission and vision are carried out, as well as their goal to improve the student experience.
During the meeting, student members shared their views, interests, and concerns while also presented a variety of events, activities, programs, policies, and projects for 2023.

STUDENT SPORTS CLUB | BASKETBALL FUNDAMENTALS
|
Skills development remains crucial for basketball practice at higher levels of education. Today our student as well as the referee at FSHB, Mateo Sheme emphasized the basic skills as part of practice time and warm-ups before games.
Mateo demonstrated basketball fundamentals such as footwork, dribbling, shooting, and passing.
